Takua Pa Old Town was congratulated for stepping up as one of Thailand's heritage towns toward international sustainable tourism standards — through the Green Destinations Top 100 Stories Competition 2026 and a presence on stage at ITB Berlin 2026.
The post thanks Takua Pa Municipality leaders and Talad Yai residents for their knowledge, cooperation, and shared work under Thailand Green Tourism Plan 2030. The Top 100 Green Destinations award is organised by the Green Destinations Foundation — a GSTC-Recognized body that celebrates Good Practice Stories and sustainable destination management from around the world, inspiring destinations, DMOs, and a new generation of responsible travellers.
