The sustainable destination area: 710.96 rai across Old Town and Khao Phra Bat

Shared on Facebook — Takua Pa Municipality outlines the two-part boundary submitted for sustainable destination assessment: heritage Old Town zones plus Khao Phra Bat.
Takua Pa Municipality presented the boundary of the "Sustainable Tourism Destination — Takua Pa Old Town" area submitted for sustainable destination assessment. The proposal covers 710.96 rai in two main parts.
Part one lies within the Rattanakosin and Old Town Conservation Committee announcement on the Takua Pa Old Town zone. It includes the core Old Town area of about 0.33 square kilometres (206.07 rai) and the continuous surrounding Old Town zone covering neighbouring communities — about 0.39 square kilometres (242.89 rai).
Part two is the Khao Phra Bat natural site, covering 262 rai. Together, these zones frame the heritage streets, living neighbourhoods, and nearby nature that define Takua Pa's green destination story.
