Sri Takua Pa Road

Sri Takua Pa Road

The heart of Talad Yai — heritage shophouses, walking street, and living culture.

Sri Takua Pa Road is the main spine of Takua Pa Old Town. Rows of Sino-Portuguese shophouses line both sides, with arched five-foot ways, shuttered windows, and balconies that recall the town's tin-trading golden age. On Sundays from November to April the street becomes a cultural walking market with local food, crafts, painted pavements, and performances — one of the best ways to feel the community spirit of Talad Yai.
